Cosmopolitan Magazine has named Wendi as one of the 8 Women Who Would Be Perfect Replacements for Jon Stewart’s “The Daily Show” – and if she could fit a new show into her already busy schedule – we’ll start making the posters!
1. Wendi McLendon-Covey: For those who don’t know, she’s more than just the comedic vixen fromReno 911 or the sassy mom from The Goldbergs. McLendon-Covey is one of the funniest, smartest women working in Hollywood right now and she’s poised to break out from sidekick to leading lady. As much as I’d love to have her headlining some big-budget films, I’d kill to see her in the hosting chair on a late night show. Can you imagine Bev Goldberg doing interviews with Henry Kissinger and Malcolm Gladwell? The world needs this.
