UK’s E4 Picks Up Season 2

The second season of ABC’s hit 1980s comedy series The Goldbergs will receive its UK premiere on E4 on Thursday May 21st at 7:30pm, and will then continue to air on weekdays in the same time-slot.

Created by Adam F. Goldberg, The Goldbergs is set in the 1980s and follows the exploits a family with and in-your-face mother, a hot-tempered father and three eccentric children. The comedy series is produced by Sony Pictures Television & Happy Madison and stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin, George Segal, Darien Provost and Troy Gentile.

In the opening episode of the show’s second season. Adam makes a mix tape for Dana to express his feelings… only to have it intercepted by Beverly who thinks it’s meant for her! Adam must carefully navigate not hurting Beverly’s feelings as his relationship with Dana progresses. Meanwhile, Barry gets a fake ID, but after showing it off to the entire school, it’s confiscated, and Barry needs to make good on some promises he made to his classmates.
